Explore sustainability, environmental restoration, and bamboo engineering in Manabi, Ecuador with the Regeneration Field Institute and students from UCSC and UC Davis! This 8-day, hands-on program offers students the chance to study and practice regenerative agriculture, sustainable engineering and architecture, ecosystem restoration, and more. Through lectures from local scientists, field trips around the biodiverse region, and immersive workshops in the old-growth forests, students have the opportunity to make an impact on global sustainability initiatives while expanding their network and advancing their career development.
The Regeneration Field Institute is a 70 acre regenerative, syntropic agroforestry operation and environmental design training center. Our education center works to develop and showcase a replicable model of regenerating ecosystems that inspires land-use change in the environmentally degraded and deforested regions around the world.
