The UCSC Bioinformatics Club is looking for a Publicist to help out with marketing, advertising, and managing the social media for the club.
Summary of duties:
- Manage and maintain all media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Discord, etc.)
- Promotes events/media relevant for the club (ie. career fair, talks in genomics)
- Design flyers, posts, etc.
- Is active throughout the general meetings and takes pictures at meetings and events-
- Maintains the UCSC Bioinformatics Website Posts
- Announcements in the BSOE Newsletter
- Creates promotional materials & graphics for Giving Day/Spring Give
