GEAR UP – Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs – at UC Santa Cruz hires college students to work in local middle and high schools in the Watsonville, Pajaro, Aptos, and Salinas Valley areas as Academic Interns serving as tutors and advisors.

GEAR UP is currently hiring tutors who are strong in math, up to and including Calculus, for paid internship programs offering about 15 hours of work per week at $19.00/hour.
